Bleep Computing have a wide-ranging client base. For example, we provided a retail management system for the internationally renowned Wallace Collection at historic Hertford House in London's Manchester Square.

The collection attracts some 200,000 visitors a year and, like many other heritage sites, it has a busy retail shop which sells books, postcards, prints, posters, tableware, jewellery and gifts. The front desk also sells guide books and children's quizzes. The shop, like the museum, is open seven days a week, 356 days a year. To help manage the outlet the Wallace Collection has Bleep's retail management system, which operates on a Windows NT platform.

Julia Parker, head of retail services, says: "Before we got our Bleep system, we had to do everything manually and it was very time consuming to work out exactly what we'd sold and what we had in stock. With so many individual items to keep track of, inaccuracy invariably crept in. That's a thing of the past now. It's also great to be able to produce reports on any aspect of the business - actual daily takings, best sellers, stock turnover - all we need. We find we're getting more and more out of the system all the time."
